Eric A. Roman, MS, MPAP, PA-C
Eric is a board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in Pediatric Orthopedics at Rady Children’s Hospital. He attended The University of California at Davis for his undergraduate and earned a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior and was a Spanish double major. He then went on to The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and earned a Master of Science degree in Anatomy Education and Health Professions Education. He attended Keck School of Medicine of USC and earned his Master of Physician Assistant Practice (MPAP) degree. His tutoring subjects include: organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology, anatomy, physiology, advanced physiology, pathophysiology, MCAT content, PA-CAT, EOR, PANCE & PANRE review. He is the founder of Ochem University and Pace The PANCE Blueprint Science and Medicine.
Outside of academics, Eric enjoys Crossfit, the beach, and the San Diego Zoo. He also plays the guitar and enjoys reading, relaxing, and watching baseball. His favorite teams are the San Diego Padres and Boston Red Sox.
Sybil Sha, MD
Sybil Sha, MD is a medical doctor specializing in radiation oncology. Zach Brown, PhD
Zach is a PhD candidate through SDSU/UCSD performing sulfur based organic chemistry research. He performs chemistry on aromatic heterocyclic molecules as well as creating helical peptides to mediate protein-protein interactions. Zach specializes in chemistry but loves learning and teaching all the natural sciences. Throughout his PhD he has been engaged in teaching in one-on-one and group settings. He plans to work in the biotech industry working to make new chemicals, materials, and pharmaceutically relevant drugs. Zach has a calm and patient approach to teaching and helps guide the student through learning at a pace that is custom to each student. Outside of chemistry Zach enjoys staying active inside and outdoors through the gym and having fun in the sun. There are few things he does not like to do in nature.
Bardia Ghayoumi, M4
Bardia is a fourth year MD candidate interested in pursuing Internal Medicine who is Ochem University’s physics tutoring specialist. He has a long history of tutoring both at the undergraduate and graduate levels in a variety of basic science topics with an emphasis on student autonomy. His goal with tutoring is to not only get you the results on your tests, but to share his passion for science and the insights it can provide into the natural world. Previously, he was a researcher in the Department of Biophysics under the UC Davis School of Medicine working on mathematical models of cardiac myocytes and scored in the 97th percentile on the Chemical and Physical Foundations section of the MCAT.
Outside of academics, Bardia enjoys staying active through circus-style conditioning and acrobatics. He also enjoys cooking, bread-making, nature, and spirituality.
